Abeona [Scam Alert] ICO (ABN)
Blockchain based travel platform
Scam Alert
The biggest warning sign that this is a scam is the ICO’s team. The team is made up of five people, of which only the CEO has social media accounts.
Their Communications and Content Creator Consultant, Alice Bassi, changed her picture completely and now is an entirely different woman.
This happened probably due to the fact that the old photo was found to be taken from an article about cute girls, even though they removed the background to make it harder to check this.
The description of Pierre Martin, their blockchain engineer, states that he filed a patent for the ICO’s encryption technology with the USPTO. After checking with the USPTO for any patent ever created by people named Pierre Martin, only patents related to drilling, rods, and magnets were found. None of the patents listed under that name are related to encryption in any way.
The CEO has opened all of his social media accounts at about the same time, from September to November 2017. He only posted content related to Abeona or crypto, never anything else. This is quite suspicious as well.
Another big warning sign that this ICO is a scam is the countdown clock on the website. Despite the fact that the public sale was supposed to start more than two weeks ago, the clock still shows that the "time is up". The status above the clock still shows that they are in the presale.
An additional warning sign relates to the code presented on the ICO’s website. The code is completely copy-pasted from many GitHub pages, such as "simple token". Moreover, they presented false ICO rating from other websites.
Abeona coin is the cryptocurrency of Adiona, a blockchain-based travel ecosystem which will serve as a ticket booking system, a communication service, and a trading platform. The Adiona platform will enable customers to book air travel tickets at the lowest possible prices, and business owners to generate more profits. Abeona coin will be also the cornerstone of a decentralized feedback and rating system that will entice service providers and business owners to offer high-quality services.
