Quantum Resistant Ledger (QRL)

Quantum Resistant Ledger Coin (QRL) is a blockchain based cryptocurrency that was created in Python. The currency was developed to withstand hacker attacks and expected future quantum computer attacks on blockchains. Quantum Resistant Ledger is one of the first blockchain based cryptocurrency to utilize post-quantum cryptographic technology. QRL is specially developed to use a form of post-quantum secure digital signature for transactions, known as XMSS. Quantum Resistant Ledger also utilizes a low power proof-of-stake (PoS) algorithm which again relies on iterative hash-chains and highly secure hash-based pseudo random number functions. The PoS algorithm is formulated to have zero reliance on conventional digital signatures which are vulnerable to a moderately powerful Quantum Computer. The coin's protocol allows nodes to operate on low power devices such as laptops or raspberry PIs to earn passive income by coin staking.
