Lisk (LSK)

Lisk is a decentralized platform that enables the development of blockchain based apps that run across multiple computers and other machines such as smartphones. Lisk offers a JavaScript based software development kit (SDK) which can easily be used by a developer to write code using JavaScript to develop apps. This SDK framework promotes flexibility for coders to develop not only the frontend but also the backend of the app, enabling complete blockchain app development. The backend is the core functionality side of an app which exists on the server/blockchain platform and runs on the basis of the code, while the frontend represents the user interface which a user sees and interacts with on their computer or smartphone. Lisk's platform also permits the building of side chains.
